Critique Responses
The good...
- the reoccurring notion of rotating fractals was clear throughout
- model craft was good in all models
- the construction diagram for the last model (model and diagram pictured below) was very clear and precise
The bad...
- the correlation between the models was at times lost due to lack of "in-between" work
- lack of a name for the entire project
- pictures and drawings were not labelled and thus lost relevance at times
My takeaway
- even if the assignment is to 'curate work', still include the menial work that connected projects... not that it will be viewed intensely... but at least it's there
- don't say, "We had to..." because it gives the sense that you weren't committed to your work
- label/name everything
Going forward
- I am going to continue with the theme/notion/concept of rotating fractals as it has given me a lot of material/ideas to work with.
- I am going to make sure to document all "in-between work" thoroughly so it can be pinned up come finals... no-matter how menial.
- I am going to use rotating fractals as inspiration for my event score.
